Pics of your Jeep with 15” wheels and a 2.5” lift

Could you post some pics of your Jeep with this setup. Looking for inspiration 🤘🏼

I recently went from a 4” lift to a 2.5” but I kept the 17” wheels and tires (285/70-17) as I only have about 20K miles on the Falkens. These wheels are from the previous owner. I’ve never got around to changing them out.

I’m getting the itch to go ahead and get new wheels and tires. Want to go down to 15x8 but not sure on what size tire looks best on a 2.5” lift?
Extreme Terrain recommended 31x10.50r15 with a 15x8.

Thanks 🤘🏼💀

Also, I’m thinking about going with a charcoal color spoke wheel instead of polished aluminum like I have now but it’s between these two options. Which would you pick? I’m a woman I can’t decide on anything 😆

Hey that’s a good looking jeep-

Here are a couple of pics that I hope
will be helpful- This has a body lift so it’s a little bit deceiving but the spring lift is just 2.5 inches at most.

Tires are 33”

I think I like this setup a little better than the 32s. I can always try both sizes one day to see what I like best. Being I don’t Offroad it much anymore, 31s should suffice.

This Jeep was so much fun to drive, kind of wish I would have kept it too. Did great around town and was still pretty capable in the mountains

Those charcoal Mammoth Boulder wheels might look good on a white Sahara.
p.s. I wish they still sold them in silver, like they used to.

I want them on my current red Jeep and feel the same way. I need sale prices to buy them. I think $135 each is the lowest I've seen them go for. A member on here had them on his red Rubicon (same as mine).

Extreme Terrain currently has a 10% code on them making them $139ish. They also have one open box that has paint missing in one small area. Might be good for a spare at least.

I thinking this time I’m going to get a used tire and not rotate in the spare when I do my tire rotations.

Keep in mind that If you go with an aftermarket 15x8 wheel, the backspacing is usually going to be 3.75", and that will cause the tires to stick out past the fender flares. Some people like that look. I do not - especially with only a 31" - 32" tire.

If I had a white Jeep like yours, I would go with a set of Moab wheels and paint them white. I think that would look so badass, and would only really work on a WHITE Jeep. Quadratec sells them, if you are interested. And the 5" backspacing on those wheels will keep your tires under your flares, where they belong.

Here is my own Jeep with a 2.5" suspension lift with 265/75R 16" (31.65" x 10.4") tires on stock 16x8 Moab wheels. I also have the 1" longer Rubicon flares, which are the same width as your Sahara flares. This is in fact, the largest size tire you can still fit on the factory spare tire carrier:

only if you leave the third brake light in its original place

I don't think the third brake light is the only problem.

My 265/75R 16" tire just barely rests on the top of the bumper. If it were any taller, I don't think I would be able to close the door.

Thank you for that info. I didn’t realize that about the tires sticking out. I will have to check but I believe my 17s do poke out from the fender flares though I’ve never paid it any mind.

I see some stock 15” wheels on marketplace or eBay but I really like the gray or black look. I’ve had the polished aluminum for 12 years so looking to change it up I think.

Thats weird. My 32" mickeys fit just fine with a little room to spare before touching the bumper.
