I have a tire wear issue I hope you guys can help me out with. I have an '03, it had a lift on it when I bought it, best I can figure its 3-3.5 inch. It had a set of wore out 33 pro comp mt on it so I put a set of 285/70r17 toyo at 3 on it a couple of years ago and had it aligned. The rear passenger tire is wearing noticeably faster than the other 3. The wear is even across the tread. I have since figured out the axles weren't recentered when they lifted it so I installed an adjustable track bar in the front and centered the axle. I have yet to do the rear. The front tires weren't wearing unevenly before I centered the axle. Is the rear passenger wearing quicker because of the uncentered axle or is it something else I am missing? The jeep drives straight down the road and can steer it with one finger doing 80 mph.

assuming you have an open diff in the rear, the torque from the driveshaft puts upward pressure on the right rear tire, which means it will be the first to spin whenever it is wet or slippery out. If you haven't rotated the tires, it could explain why the RR is wearing more, yet evenly.

I have a little less than 2,500 miles on the tires but it sounds like a rotation is in order. Thanks for the info
