O2 sensor issue

Those should be fine. Might pull them and double check the gap, be sure the coil is seated on them. Also check the springs and boots of the coil.

New spark plugs and the issue is still there.

Here’s a picture of the readings for both upstream sensors. Is it normal to be dropping below 0.1?

I was having a look at somethings and noticed this wiring was looking pretty bad. I’m not certain but I believe this runs to the down stream sensor on bank 1 (sensor2, bank1). If this wiring is bad, could it have an effect on the upstream sensor? Here’s a photo of the wiring and another of the voltages when comparing both downstream sensors. Does it seem right for them both to be reading different at times?

Update to this: took it in to get them wires checked, apparently only the insulation was melted and not any of the wires.

They are pretty certain to be using that much fuel it can’t be running through the engine as if it was that rich it’d be black around the exhaust which it isn’t and runs great according to them.

They think it could be a fuel leak and going to look for it when it’s not such a bad weather.

The car was sitting for a while and the fuel gauge has been a bit weird with its readings. Anyone know if it’s common for the fuel lines to leak?

Update for anyone following:

Got the wires checked out and it seems like only the insulation was melted not no actual cables. Mechanic replaced them and suggest it must be a fuel leak. They looked for a fuel leak but said it’s dry and there’s no leak so they are completely lost on what it is….

But interestingly after driving 80km the engine light hasn’t come back on for P0133.. so either it was the wiring or the first sensor was dodgy as everytime the code would have come back on by now..

The problem is the fuel consumption is still absolutely terrible, averaging about 230km a tank (only have 31inch tires). The mechanic is lost as there’s nothing else left to look at it.
