Nikki's yellow throwback Jeep

I don’t plan on doing anything to the flares. The gap doesn’t bug me and if you can’t tell from my thread I’m pretty meticulous so I do think that says something. The gap is hardly noticeable. Also spoiler alert: the rear armor will be going on soon 😉
I don't notice the gap either in mine either...I was mostly replying to @zebra12 because I see questions about trimmed flares ALL THE TIME. Sorry to muck up your build thread...

Don’t be! All good. I actually like what @Vasq did. If I wasn’t going to put armor on the corners I might have done something similar. But after a little while I don’t notice it anymore.

Me and Nick are gonna have to do a group photoshoot.

😁
Hopefully I can get the corners and bumper guards on before Moab. Then I’ll really be the short bus version of yours 😂. Soft top is going on before Moab as well

edit: Mike are you towing your jeep or driving it to Moab?

Driving. I’ll be running the soft top as well.

Maybe we need to make a TJ calendar 🤣

@Alex01 Jeep is getting awfully pretty lately too.

Well Steve at OffRoadOnly came through. @Lou brought the belt discrepancy to my attention, that my belt was off the back of the belt tensioner and idler pulleys about 0.120 of an inch. Luckily Lou had already talked to Steve when I called, and Steve was already able to duplicate the issue with one of his jeeps. When I gave Steve a call he already had begun fixing the problem. He sent me a spacer for the belt tensioner pulley and a new post for idler pulley and now the belt sits all the way on the pulleys.👍🏼
