New Wizard / BMB tail lights?

Trust me, you don't want them any more than I do. I've been beating on the supplier more than normal and they were already supposed to be here. That only happened after I pushed on them hard. They have been out for production after approving samples for months now.

I'm very glad you like them and that the effort we put into them shows. If folks would update me on the packaging, that would let me know they are arriving safely and I don't need to change anything.

We explored some custom packaging to make them easier to pack. Worked out to about 23 bucks per box and that will never fly.

Just so you know, you can go ahead and wire them up. That way when the light and plate relocator get there, you are plug and play.

LOL.. the packaging. Mine arrived perfect. The step-down crimp connectors are sweet. I have a HUGE kit of the no-crimp shrink connectors with the solder in the middle. I find they work great. However I already loaded my shopping cart with an assortment of the step-down connectors. The white foam padding you use is a bonus. I am sewing up a drawstring bag to carry a one pound propane canister and I am going to line it with the foam you used as insulation!

Great instructions too. Already pdf'd them so I have them on my iPad.

I am going to wire them up over the weekend. I can't remember how my plate light is wired. I don't think it has a connector on it. I'll leave that for last.

They really don't. If they did, I would use them in the kit. If you follow my instructions, the solid barrel butt connectors are bulletproof and the heat shrink is the lowest melt and shrink temp we could find. It is also very high quality and the 3-1 shrink ratio covers even the single 22 gauge where needed.

We do the same. We recycle all the clean void fill we get from many packages per month and send it right back out.

I have no talent for that stuff so it is dozens of hours, rewrite, proofs, print and check, and do it all again until it looks tolerable. I only get them done through sheer brute force.

Good luck.

Does anyone know which wire on the new LED taillight panel is the same function as the brown wire on the Savvy LED taillight panel?

I am replacing my Savvy taillights with the BMB taillights…

Like building driveshafts, good instruction writing is both an art and a skill. I am good at one and have a long ways to go on the other. One thing I want to do is bring back line drawings as IMO they are superior to the gray scale photos being used these days. But they take time and money to do.

If you are doing a swap, that should not matter since our tail light connector is wired up to the OEM functions on the harness side.

If you need that info for some other reason, then I can probably figure it out.

We only do color pics, but, in order to get them to not be dark when printed and lose detail, you have to bring the brightness and contrast up so far that you lose detail. I suck at all of this.

I need to tap into that wire on the passenger side. Making a little harness that comes off the LED panel harness to run my tailgate mounted license plate light.

I didn’t have enough slack on the Jeep side harness when I installed the Savvy lights so I tapped into the LED panel harness.

The running light (low intensity) on the Savvy LED panel is the brown wire. I just tested everything with a 9V battery to verify…

Sherco Automotive... that's like a drug addicts drug store! Thank you.

I can send you back the pdf if you want it.

You don't have to test it. Read the notes in the instructions. There is a wire color chart with function.

The Savvy light brown wire is running lights.

You are correct. I meant to update which wire on the Savvy LED panel was for the running light. I corrected my original post…

No kidding, looking at all these wires is kinda making me hyperventilate and my eye twitch. I think I'm going to have to take a deep breath and actually read directions (been a long time since I've read directions on anything)
Also, can't find my non insulated crimpers, so, new tool time
