Howdy All,

I've been lurking here for a while. Pretty much any time I have a question I see someone posted the same thing once upon a time, so there hasn't been much need to post. Thought I would take a moment to say hello.

Most of my off roading happened a long time ago. Cut my teeth on a K5 Blazer, then a YJ, then Gen3 4Runner, then life happened and I moved on to other things.

Back when the TJ was coming out there were all kinds of rumors going around. People said it would be the end of folding windshields and removable doors, people said it would have independent front suspension, so I decided to order a 1995 YJ from the factory. Put a small lift on it to run 31x10.5 and it took me where I wanted to go from Colorado to the tip of Baja.

I thought I would keep it forever but it was totaled in a rollover accident. I then moved on to a 4Runner for a longer wheelbase and wanting more steel between my head and the ground in case I went upside down again.

Looked around for old photos of the YJ, couldn't find many, here is one of it heading off into the sunset.

Time went by and I bought my kids an old convertible to share in High School. Driving it myself I thought "this is fun" and starting itching for a convertible myself. My wife pointed out that a Jeep is technically a convertible, and a fun summer car, so then this happened.

Slapped a quick lift into it, started doing some trails around home with the family, and then thought about what would happen if we got stuck. Well, the best way to get one Jeep unstuck (or two Jeeps stuck) is with a second one, so then this happened.

So here I am, two project Jeeps, not enough project time, an overflowing garage, and not quite sure what I have bitten off.

That's it for now :)
