Everyone else driving home too?
Nah they was all going to grandma's house.........
Everyone else driving home too?
Oh man, just got home. It never occurred to me that today was the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend...

Damn, I didn't think about that either.
How was your ride out? Trying to avoid the traffic jam, google maps sent me down some back road that was full of hairpin turns into switch-back city. We did that for about 10 miles then got on some old 2 lane bypass highway for about 40 miles that wasn't much better just to get caught in stop and go traffic at every little town we went through. We spent every bit of 2 hours in slow moving traffic yesterday. East of Asheville everything was fine.
Started work this morning just to find out I have to drive 200 miles today. My butt hurts.![]()
Nasty. I stayed on 40, but it was bumper to bumper, stop and go, for 200 miles. Knoxville was a parking lot.
Dang Thanksgiving travelers.........
And not having enough projects already going on, I started in on carving my newest granddaughter’s toy box.

I actually enjoy carving the flowers more than the Jeep’s or the Motorcycles.
And yeah, I’ve got a few tins of bandaids close at hand…

failure looked more like a debris failure
You may have already posted this so sorry if I missed it. Do you have a pick of the failure. Again sorry if you answered this. It looks like he at one time offered a cryo treatment for $100. Where these failed sets cryoed after the machine work? Do you know why he no longer offers the service? Was it due to simply not being needed or sourcing issues? Just curious.
Thanks for the link, I had not seen it. That is some great info and answered all my questions. I always like knowing how something failed.
I wish I knew how it failed...
Simple. You have Hemispherical heads.
Finished up most of the carving on Scarlett's toy box today.

A little clean-up and I can get this thing assembled and finished. I'd like to get this behind me because I have a few Jeep (you know, that thing we all have which is the reason we are all here?) and trailer projects to get to.

Not being a woodworker, I'm always impressed with Jeff's work. BlueC, what's the workflow for getting shading like that?I like it. Are you going to be applying any stains/colors? A little shading to make that flower 'pop'?
