Hey,
I recently replaced the bank 2 sensor 1 (p0155) o2 sensor on my 2003 6 cylinder 4.0 wrangler. however, when I went to plug the new sensor in to the wiring harness, I realized that the shape of the connector on the new sensor is different from the original. I am pretty sure that I have the right sensor, as I the one recommended for this from this thread. I'm also pretty sure that I replaced the right one- even if I didn't, the shape on all of the older sensors are identical.
This doesn't seem to let me upload a picture off of my device, but here's a link to a photo of it in drive- hopefully this works. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZtB1_tvUw-oRoGGApystehC4QD28J6xH/view?usp=sharing. The original one I took off is in my hand. Basically one of the little female alignment tabs on my new sensor is slightly offset from the other side, while the original one both are parallel. The difference is slight, but it's there. This means that although the connector seems to be identical, I can't plug the sensor in.
My first thought was to sand one of the mismatched tabs on the harness end down, but I figured I'd check before doing anything stupid.
thanks.
