Mid-arm LJ Rubicon

I never had tire slippage on Yellow Hill. That climb is crazy steep.

I was just trying to get some scale to it with a reference. Videos don’t do most obstacles justice. There are steeper walls in Moab than yellow hill but most wouldn’t know which ones. Like the infamous mid arm climb on Poison Spider.

The key is doing a wheeley at the top...

I’m just messing with you Ryan. So, what about the climb at the end of Moab Rim? There’s always Launchpad on the Trifecta.

The Spiderweb sun shade wasn’t cutting it. After a long day on the trail the heat and sun would cook me and the family. I’ve always liked the look of an aluminum roof. Nobody offered anything that fit my cage, so I got to work with the cardboard. A few templates and measuring from as many reference points as I could, I went for it. It fits tightly against the top of the roll cage. I welded simple tabs to the cage and bolted it down.

Next steps are to paint or wrap it black, Install a headliner to combat any rattles between the roof and cage, then make the factory speaker pods look like they still belong there.

If heat is a problem of the last top, maybe wrap in white or black outside and white inside?

Just a thought bc I don't see wrapping in black all around making anything better... More a toaster oven...

Direct sun was more of the issue. The headliner material I ordered has a foam backing. I’m thinking that will insulate a bit.
