Mid-arm LJ Rubicon

working on a door skin to cover my lack of driving ability.
Traced the door on paper and transferred it into Solidworks. Fitment is close for a first piece, needs some minor adjustments. I have some ideas on how to better incorporate the hinges with the skin, I will cut more parts next time we have .125” alum on the laser.

I'd be interested in a set of skins if you decide to cut more..

We will see, I’m not sure how to offer the doors to other as the hinge location varies from rig to rig. I’d hate to see someone have a poor fit. If I can come up a solution that works around the hinges I’ll let you know.

It's clear from other suppliers that a fair amount of space is needed to fit a variety of doors. Nothing will look as clean as your door without that personal touch you got with a template.

I have seen Blaine’s stainless hood catch skid plate pop up a few times lately. It dawned on me that factory plastic skid on my jeep has been missing since I bought it. Just waiting for the rivets to be delivered. Looks much better than the scratched paint!
