A few small design changes and updates on my billet recovery points.
-Larger and smooth ID radius
-Radius around outside of part
-Fits most bumpers, including those with winch hoops.

I have a couple sets ready to ship. $125 includes hardware and shipping. PM me if you are interested in a pair!

Ever since doing the mini boat sides the body mounts are much more exposed. Some of them were taking damage. I have had raised body mounts on the shelf for a while how. Finally getting around to installing. I now only have a 1 body lift puck remaining, which is under the grille.

I built ones that moved forward and up when doing the rear stretch. They wrap around the top and bottom of the factory cross member.

I hadn’t looked at your stretch photos before but I really like that approach. I like that it keeps the crossmember in the same location relative to the frame arch and axle. How long were your frame extensions?

I don’t remember the lengths. Around 5 1/2”?? Too many late nights during that project..
They were side specific, my cuts were straight as I could get, but varied slightly after I squared them up.

Sweet yeah that’s good enough. Was just curious about the ballpark within an inch length. That makes me think if I do a 7-8” stretch that I may not be able to exactly do your method for those body mounts.

From my experience I don't see how you could. I cut my crossmember out and moved it when I did mine. Bolted it in place and then tacked it to the frame then pulled it back out to fully weld it.

Thank you. I quite enjoy making parts for myself and close friends. Moving to higher production qty’s kills some of that joy.
Once I complete the few sets I’m currently working on I’ll consider doing more.

I would 100% be interested in a set if you do end up making them. I have genright stretch corners and I miss my old savvy tub rub rails on my old TJ.

Decided I didn’t hit enough trails in Sand Hollow last month, so we had to go again.
Ran some repeat trails and some I’ve never done. We ran The Maze, Unforgiven, deadbroke, and the first part of Twister. Ended the trip with Milts Mile. Sand Hollow is a blast. You can easily find obstacles from mild to wild on any trail to keep you entertained for hours.

My talent ran short on a V notch climb. Driver front tire slipped and I got cozy with a rock 😅

Links work perfect. Climbs look great!

Noticed the click/groan at times - Is that the suspension or the steering?

it’s more noticeable when articulating hard. I’m guessing suspension, maybe cross member or skid plate needs to be torqued down. It’s on my list to investigate. Nothing apparent from a quick glance under the rig

Didn't notice it all the time but heard it prevalently in the Twister Obstacle. There, you were turning the wheel which has me wondering if steering was a potential cause.

Jeep looks beautiful and rides great! Jealous of the features you have out west to enjoy. You're making great use of them and killing them with this setup! Jeep looks great!

Dude - you can do any damage that you want to the rest of the rig, but when you scratch the yellow…. 🙂

Looks like a cool trip. The rig is working well as usual.
