Magnum engine questions

I am running the PSC pump. The GC bracket will work with it? That’s a check off of my list.

Exhaust manifolds is my other question, thought the middle drop style was a better option? Might head to the u pull it and start grabbing some of the odd stuff, like ps brackets

Yes and I have one I'd bought to see if I could make it work with my Dodge pump but it wouldn't fit. I can send it to you when I find it again.

You have a few choices. If you have stock suspension you'll have it easier than I did. The center dump headers are easier but you can also use stock manifolds or shorty headers. If you have something like the Savvy midarm then honestly the center dump headers are the better choice.

The mid arm may be in my future, not sure yet. Will have to decide on a final axle for my front first.
I heard the dodge van manifolds were center dump? Have not confirmed this though.

If you want center dump then just get the block hugger headers. LA headers will fit the magnum heads.

I want what ever is going to work. Since there is very little performance wise to be gained or lost in any of the available choices.

Here is a good video on the power gained from just doing a stroker kit on a 360.

They went to a lot of trouble and spent some money for 35hp and 85ft lbs

Id be tickled to death to run it @300hp in my LJ lol

Yes but it showed what just adding a stroker crank does for it. Add a good intake and good flowing heads and what would it get you?
Heck the stock engine put down more power than their rated for. Which is what I said after I'd posted the rated power graphs.

Good numbers for a distributor swap and balancer!

Prob twice what my 200k mi 4.0 is making

Remember that a carburetor for whatever reason always puts down better power numbers on a dyno than fuel injection. And I can't tell you where I'd read that or saw that mentioned sometime in the last week.

I’m thinking heads, cam and intake will put me well above the 300 mark.
Maybe even just cam and heads.

I would do a cam and the intake mods that Marty sells first. At some point yes you should replace your heads IMO.
