2004 TJ, new LS swap. I have the plumbing done for my a/c in my LS swap. Novak's harness wants a 12v signal when the a/c turns on to turn on the cooling fans and then it has a wire out to the compressor. I worked through the wiring diagram and ended up getting this to work, kind of. The wire that I'm using turns on when the a/c kicks on but loses voltage 29 seconds in, pauses for 5 seconds, then gets voltage back, rinse and repeat. Needless to say, the cooling fans follow the same pattern and the compressor doesn't work properly. When we run the compressor to the battery as a test, it works flawlessly.

Novak has suggested to just have a 12v switch that I would manually to turn on the cooling fans but that seems clunky.

Any ideas why the 12v signal cycles every 34 seconds???

Is the voltage cycling caused by connecting into the circuit controlled by the Low Pressure switch? What you are seeing is the signal to the clutch disengaging when refrigerant pressure drops below the LP switch setting (32 +/-) and reengaging when the pressure rises above the LP switch setting (45 +/-).
