Lowest Drop Steps?

I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler TJ. At the age of 70, it is becoming increasingly difficult to climb into the Jeep. I am (unsuccessfully) searching for a drop step that would attach to my existing nerf bars (rock sliders). I have included a photo of my existing rock sliders which have a high step built into them. I am also open to replacing my existing nerf bards with new ones that have a significantly lower step. It is important that the step be as low as possible, for example 6 inches below the nerf bar's top surface. Can someone tell me where to find the lowest drop steps possible for my TJ?

This would be a good buy if you paid freight. Likely the best deal you will find on them. They look to be the original version but Rock Slide still supports them.

Definitely cheaper, but trickier to lower when getting out. I'm getting one for passengers because my jeep is unusually high. I have no problem jumping in and out.

have you ever seen how tractors have that cable drop step. Gives a little flexibility on how low you want the step? Not sure how that might look but a 6-7” drop might work?

Drive over to your local aluminum fabricator.

I live in FL so where are many due to all of yhe boats and custom metal work associated with boats.

Have a welding shop make a few brackets that lower your current steps?

Have you considered removing the rock sliders? I had running boards and my wife was having a hard time getting in and out, once I removed them it was a lot easier because with nothing there it allows you to get closer before stepping in.

Remove the nerf bars and use these? They lower 11 inches, and self retract...

Got this hang on step from ROCKHARD for the wife. Works well on the passenger side. Unfortunately not so well on the driver side because of wiring running under the door opening
