So about 11 years ago I purchased their rock sliders for my LJR. Life and a few moves later, I’m ready to install them. However, I lost the box with the instructions and most importantly, the hardware.
I know Zach passed away years ago, great guy. Looks like the business isn’t open anymore. Anyone happen to have the list of hardware I’d need to buy? Maybe instructions you kept around?
Any help is appreciated!

Quadratec still has the instructions on their site. The first page lists all of the hardware.

If I had to install these sliders, there is no way I would follow those instructions. Using long bolts to pass through the torque box into the floor is a severly compromised design. Cutting a big hole near the seat belt reel is bizarre. Nutserts ought to be used instead. There ought to be a pair of backing plates inside the door openings.

I might just have a shop do it…but I’ll dig around the internet and see if anyone has a better way. Thanks for the insight!

@JMT has a big thread on selecting a good rock slider design. Buried in there is a description of how these ought to be installed.

Dig in here. It’s not complicated, but it should be done correctly so the slider is hard against the bottom and outside face of the tub with a backing plate. No through bolts except in side of tub under door. Nutserts.

Thanks, I’ll get in there tomorrow. Picked up the hardware locally. I’ve never used nutserts, can you suggest a quality one? I appreciate your time and knowledge!

These would be good nutserts to use that wont be too high for the sliders once installed:

I use this tool to set nutserts. Easy to keep straight and collapses nutserts really well when you use a good drill.

Use a quality fastener.
