Long arm advantage question

Andy pays me an exorbitant annual licensing fee for unlimited use of that avatar. The day he stops paying is the day his avatar gets changed to a pink pimpmobile YJ with 22" spinners. :ROFLMAO:

Let’s keep that on bank draft then.

I have had people ask me if that is my jeep in the avatar....It was kind of hard to answer. “ well I’m making payments”

From all the gravel roads up there?

Alaska vehicle laws are vague and ambiguous on a good day. Most of the time they did a lot of copy/paste from other states and more often than not applied standards more inline with commercial vehicles across the board. For my area of the state we are the training area for new troopers so equipment violations are easy pickings for them. That and many of the troopers have a serious disdain for any vehicle that has been modded at all. Their logic of course are the unimproved roads and inclement conditions make them absolutely right all the time. We also do not have like a lot of states do a "fair weather" law that allows things to be more relaxed when the sun shining.

I do, just got back from a ride and heading back out when it gets dark.....better then posting up in here 24/7 ya kinda pathetic but Im sure ya know that 😉

Yet here you are wasting your dying days. You should write more angry paragraphs about how not upset you are. 🤣

Are you always so antagonistic? You're drawing the worst out of some normally very helpful members
Normally is debatable and not some but one internet troll. Ill step down but watch this banter continue. Ive garnered the information I requested from some supportive members and appreciate their input. Have a great night

Is there any benefit to the longer and flatter arms (with larger radius and being in a higher point of the radius at ride height) when pushing the tire into and climbing a vertical flat or slightly undercut rock wall? Again, ignoring the confines of the current frame, steering, etc... and assuming one has means, ability, and want to modify the frame and tub. And if so would those longer arms have any other benefit?

You are probably better off starting a new thread as I do not think you are going to get much traction in this one.

If you paid just a smidge of attention on here you'd know that the two people you poked at on this thread are awfully smart and experienced. In fact one of them is probably the smartest most experienced TJ guy there is when it comes to actually do things that makes sense and helping people.

But oh well.....best of luck.

A few years ago, we were pulled over at about 3am a few miles before the split to go to Kenai on our way to Soldotna. I was doing about 10 over the limit, but slowing back down to the limit after passing another car… trooper was trying to convince me that passing on a 2 lane hwy needs to be done at limit speed, not speed up and get the pass done quicker and safer… I only got a verbal warning…

@AndyG, you need to have your own identity and Stop living off @Jerry Bransford's many accomplishments. Return his avatar and put your wheel off avatar with the duck of death on your bumper. Reality is Truth.

It’s possible that @AndyG is suffering from multiple personality disorder. Not long ago he thought he was @Plumber1 ! 😞
