Does anyone know of any lockable storage boxes for the LJ like these Tuffy boxes that are for the TJ? I have a set of these Tuffy boxes for my TJ and I tried to fit them on the LJ and they really do not fit.

Those are cool but they're long since out of production. I'm not sure they ever made them for the TJ Unlimited.

Not surprised they don't fit your LJ since the wheel wells are farther back from the seat.
I'm sure they still sell them a lot with as many TJ's are on the road.
The Bestop versions are not made any more. I've been looking for a set for mine.
My surprise mostly comes from the fact that so many companies that have produced products for the TJ have been ceasing production in recent years since there is more money to be made in the JK and JL market. Whenever I find a company that's still producing TJ products it's always something to smile about.
That might be the route to go. When I test fit the TJ boxes in the LJ there was sizable gaps below so this might let me be able cut where needed.
Will do. I might see if I can fab up something first for the TJ boxes too since I have them, and since I got an Extenda-trunk for the TJ so I no longer have a use of the boxes on the TJ. I really want to find some sealed panel mount lock boxes to fit in the cavity of the extenda-trunk for tools and such.
Bestop made it but its discontinued though. Its made for TJs, but when I bought it off Marketplace, I transported it in my LJ and it fit almost perfect in the back with the rear seat folded. It basically bolts to the front seat mount on a 97-02 bracket. I have not fully installed it in my TJ since its too cold for me to want to do anything in the garage. Subscribing. Mostly looking for a good place for speakers in my LJ since I have a custom roll cage. The boxes look good, but still a bit pricey. Probably going with Alpine roll bar mounted speaker pods.
It might be a hot minute before I try to fab something to install the lockboxes on the side arches of my LJ. Got many other priority projects to tackle first.
