Leaky seam in soft top

right above the tailgate, i believe favoring the passenger side, the seam at the 90 from top to drip edge for back window seems to be allowing water in.
any suggestions to what i can use to seal it up ?
my inclination is to use a heavy paste wax.

no i can't buy a new top, so save that ...

Pics would help. I side I’ve seen people use a tape like duck tape since most soft tops have seam tape already to cover the stitching.

If it is on a seam, get a stick or puck of bees wax and rub it on the threads. Hit the zippers too.. it makes a great dry lubricant. I do the zippers a few times a year.

Another option is apply a coat of silicone seam sealer to the back side of the seam. I seal the seams on backpack packing gear with this. Sprinkle a little baby powder on it once it cures or it will be kind of sticky feeling.
