Colorado Krew Hangout

Not even close to same ballpark lol

Yeah, comfort wise I’m fine, I just like this LJ and it was/is super clean so trying to minimize body damage. My TJ didn’t get the same respect when I was younger. I already made one bonehead move a few weeks ago in Ironclads and got too close to that tree on the downhill off camber right hand turn at the end of the loop and got my passenger rear fender. I’m used to having my tires stick out a little further and I should have asked for a spot. That incident prompted an immediate order to Flux, lol.

I can't think of a trail anywhere near Denver where sliders get used.

Yeah, I really miss the old Lefthand Canyon Carnage, was plenty of optional obstacles to get all up in the sliders.

That was shut down by the time I got the Jeep

Yeah, really a shame, there used to be a lot of great trails in the Lefthand area. Nugget Hill, Gillespie Gulch, and that Carnage area was awesome, but it was over run even before the SXS movement, couldn’t imagine now. Having a 15 year break from the hobby a lot of the trails that are still open are almost unrecognizable to what they were.

Was a good day. Beautiful up there
3 TJ party

Thanks for the invite, Adam! Lexi and I had a blast, really enjoyed wheeling and chatting with you guys. The dogs were sure tuckered out when we got home. Looking forward to wheeling with you some more!

Trails were great and the scenery, water crossings, and company were the highlights!

Let me know when we're headed out again! My dog hasn't gotten up lol. I went to lake all day today... need to go back to work and rest for a couple days

Oh good, that means they're going to also have to close the tunnels for hazardous trucks.

Exactly. I had already read that I-70 would be closed off and on both directions for the rock mitigation. Throw in the tunnel and it’s going to be a hot mess
