Colorado Krew Hangout

Holy Cross is a great trail, as is Black Bear. But the difficulty is overstated.

Oh yeah, it's not that hard, but it's fun. I find most trails have their difficulty overstated... People must not be good drivers on average.

Haha unlikely to be in the budget this year. I want to finish my garage more than a midarm. Imagine not laying in gravel to work on your jeep!

I don't think it really matters all that much. The 90° goal is a good baseline but the towers pretty much fit wherever they fit. In the end.

Yeah I thought I had read that, and we talked about it. I mostly want the 4" lift so I can slap on 35s when my 33s wear out but this way I don't have to buy shocks twice!

The biggest issue is having to adjust pinion angle which will rotate the axle side shock mounts allowing them to possibly bind (but probably not. I knew a welder anyway).

I'm not sure if I'd call myself a welder but I can glue metal together!

Assuming you're set up well on short arms already, the pinion angle shouldn't change much if at all, though - right? And the arc of axle movement is shallower. I suppose unless the arm separation is enough to roll the axle a lot more.
