I would have been very happy buying that jeep, but I’m afraid that I would have been in such a hurry to get it home to remove that rack that I might have wrecked it in the rush.

I might've stripped a screw in the process because I was in such a rush.

Just be aware your 06 has a few quirks:

The PCM is going to fail at some point and the only fix is a rehosted one from Wranglerfix for the 05 and 06s.

The 05, 06 OPDA is know to seize up which can result in cam gear damage, loss of oil pressure. The fix is an aftermarket OPDA from Crown or Dorman. If you hear a laughing monkey sound, it's on the way out.

I don't believe the PCM is an issue on the Manuals. I may be wrong, it was way more of an issue on the automatics.

Black Bear Edition did not come out until 2016. Somebody must like decals. It was only a looks package.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter which trans you have.
