I'm installing the adjustable jks front trackbar and running into some issues with putting the bolt in. I've used a 9/16" drill bit and the bolt fits just fine as shown in picture. But when putting it through the trackbar joint, it doesn't seem to be at the right angle to fully make it through the bracket. And yes I've spun the trackbar around probbaly 10 times to find the perfect aligment but never seems to want to get the bolt through. Any tips?

Okay frame side is mounted but had to take off axle side to do it. Now getting axle side back is being a PITA. Inside of the joint, there is a little overhang preventing it getting passed the mount edges. I tried hittin the bottom a few times with a hammer but don't want to mess it up by that edge getting to much force. Maybe have to use something to pry the bracket slightly more open?

Instructions say to put frame side first. On the axle side, have a helper carefully and slowly move steering wheel to help align mount holes

Pry bar shouldn’t hurt anything…

If anyone runs across this.. I running into new problem. I put the bolt with taper cone through and started screwing the nut on. It seemed to take a lot more force than needed to rurn the nut so took it apart to check for cross threading. BUT now the tapered cone is stuck in the bracket hole. Not sure if this is a problem and need to get out or if I can screw the bolt just past it

Bolt with taper cone? I thought you drilled out the taper in your frame mount. So what bolt are you using?

If the taper was drilled out, then the tapered end will pull through and not get tight like it's intended to. There are sleeves that you can use to get the taper back...

The 9/16 clearance hole JKS has you drill isn’t big enough to completely remove the taper from the factory joint. They (JKS) include a little tapered shim to take up the space left. It’s totally unnecessary.

Based on his other thread, OP is on the right track.
