I decided to replace the factory headlight circuit with the “Daylight” harness from Jeepcables. Since it is designed for an XJ with the battery in the front of the engine compartment, I’m having trouble deciding where to anchor the relays.

I think the best spot would be just below the passenger headlight, but the positive cable to the battery is way too short. I could just splice in more wire to reach I guess.

Would appreciate anyone who adapted it to their TJ or YJ. Photos a plus.

PS: this is for the rectangle headlight “tj”, so the Toyota kit won’t help.

Assuming you don’t want to add a hole, can you get it back to the forward bolt on the PDC?

Passenger side has a lot more factory options.

This my existing setup with their Big7 kit. I thought the positive terminal cable had to go directly to the battery terminal. Can I use one of the lugs on the PDC? Or even closer would be the in-line fuse that goes to the alternator?
