Hello all, the next step of my LJ build is a set of rock sliders, and I am considering two options.

White Knuckle Off Road and Rocky Road Outfitters both make frame mounted sliders for the LJ, and I was curious if anybody had installed either of these on their own Jeep, or has suggestions on one of these options over the other.
I like the Rocky Road Outfitter option because of the kickout and plate covering(although WKOR has the plate too), since they'll be used as a step as well.
I am open to tub mounted options, but I prefer the look of the frame mounted and also the comfort of not drilling into the tub. If I ever want to take them off I can, or if I decide to go another route in the future, there won't be any holes in the tub. I understand that there is decreased clearance with the frame mounted, but that is something I am willing to look over for peace of mind.
Also living in AL means lots of humidity, muddy trails, and residual moisture hanging around metal-metal seams whenever it can. So that's another reason why I prefer the frame mounted.

For reference, the Rocky Road is the left two pictures, and the White Knuckle is the right two pictures.

Thanks for the help y'all. If anybody has installed these please feel free to leave pictures in the comments as well. The more the merrier.

Those aren't rock sliders. What I mean is you wouldn't want to let rocks hit those. They are going to be pushed up and the slider itself and the Jeep tub will be damaged. So, if you are planning to go offroad, you don't want a frame mounted design but a tub mounted design. See this thread.

Holy cow, the White Knuckles only use self threading 3/8" bolts in a hole drilled in the frame? @JMT isn't kidding.

Super confidence inspiring:

OP, while you see a lot of frame mounts on newer Jeeps, it's because the body's material and lines can't reasonably allow for any strength on tub mounts.

It only takes drilling one hole to get over the fear of drilling, lol. Definitely check out the thread JMT linked above.
