Installed BM short shift , amazing

This is one of those mods I wish I did 5 years ago , especially considering how inexpensive it is compared to most jeep mods. Shifting is incredible and the install was straight forward and took about an hour . Any questions ask Away

I'd love to know just how much shorter the throw is.

The nv3550 isn't throwing a country mile in stock form and stays pretty damn tight no matter the mileage....

Did you happen to measure the before and after?

It's alright but I regretted buying it for my first TJ. Juice was not worth the squeeze.

I have the nv3550 as well and the throw is significantly shorter, I didn’t measure but it’s at least 50% less throw . You especially notice 1st to 2nd. The positive click sound as you go through gears is very satisfying and 2nd to 3rd no longer feels “vague”

If your power train is "tucked" you may have to modify the shifter. I had to increase the bend a little so my hand wouldn't hit the dash.
