Because its located under the hood, its drawing air heated by the engine so a better term would be a Hot Air Intake (HAI). Sorry, I had to do it. My 4 cylinder Jeep did everything perfect offroad. I could maintain 70 mph highway on flat ground with 30" tires. A 4.0L with 3.07 gears isn't much better IMO.
