HVAC box replacement foam

Yeah, I noticed that on mine too. I've been trying to track down the part number for that foam so I can see what other vehicles it might cross over with. I can't imagine it's a super common thing to replace, but I’m sure it would make a few folks happy to have a proper solution. I’ll also look into that horn button — send me the video you mentioned when you get a chance.

Door seals would be great — definitely adding that to the list. Ill look at the HVAC controls as well!

Yes, I can absolutely offer a forum discount and send them to you guys direct. Just trying to make it easier to get the right parts without going through the hassle (or eBay fees). Appreciate the interest!

I saw those posted before, but no reviews about their longevity.

I don't think they've been out for much more than a year, but I can tell you mine are still fine after 12 months installed. My only regret is not buying them when I purchased my seat base foam.

Hopefully they are better than the ones I tried from Amazon as they really didn’t work for my seat sliders.

Those were likely 3D printed. The kit available from Summit would appear to be the same nylon/delrin material as from the factory. Biggest difference is the stud bushes are split for installation.

I saw the part description said “Same material as OEM” but my originals appeared to be a polyurethane material (similar to skateboard wheels) and not nylon or Delrin. Mine are a translucent orange-ish color and much softer than Delrin. Maybe “OEM” material was different over the years? I guess it really doesn’t matter as long as the material holds up.

Well worth it for this seal kit.

When I had to replace my heater core I had to make my own seals. A kit like this would have saved quite a bit of time and effort.
It's nice to see people supporting older Jeeps with things like this (I've actually got new seat foam shipping over from Summit at the moment).

I found a good image of the OEM seal kit and scaled/printed it till I had it the correct size so I could make seals before stripping the HVAC assembly out. I used 20mm thick LD33 foam which had an FMVSS approval, but had to buy a one square metre size, which was overkill.

The factory material, whatever it is/was, would seem to turn orange-brown and soften with age. Sometimes the material fractures and falls off the seat base. The parts in the Summit kit feel like a nylon/delrin type material to me, couldn't say for sure.

I suspect you'll appreciate this purchase once installed. The difference is quite remarkable.

Quick Update – Inventory Clearance

Unfortunately, the manufacturer I was working with used my mold to start producing their own competing product. Because of that, I’ve decided to sell off my current inventory near cost.

It’s a bit of a setback, but I’m shifting gears and I’m going to be manufacture everything in-house myself moving forward. Hopefully by the end of this the price will be significantly cheaper anyway. Thanks for your continued support, and I’m excited to bring you new, original parts soon.

Thanks so much for the support guys!
If you grab a kit on eBay and leave a review, it really helps me build traction and grow the brand. Every bit of feedback makes a difference as I push forward with new parts. I truly appreciate the encouragement!

I just bought a set. Thank you for the effort. I would be happy to buy more products from you at this quality level!!
