Disclaimer: I am just starting to really get into my build, I've got some minor upgrades (suspension), but mostly cosmetic & general maintenance under my belt.

Currently have stock 15in wheel on 31in A/T BFGs on a 2.5in suspension lift. Tread is running low (along with some other issues like needing an alignment & other death-wobble related fun) leading me to the search for some new wheels & tires. I've got a few questions, so bear with me:

Can I put 33s on with my current lift, or should I add another 1in body lift to be safe?
- If yes to 33s, will that require regearing?

What offset or backspacing should I be looking at for 15-16in wheels, 33in tire combo?
- Props to anyone who can explain to me what offset/backspace even is (I just know it's important enough to understand it before purchasing new wheels/tires)

Finally, feel free to show off your wheel/tire setup, I need inspiration. I'm afraid anything over 16in won't be flattering with a smaller tire size like 33. Looking at bronze wheels as my first choice, but willing to do silver/chrome if I can't find any within the budget (freshly 22 year old, so no fancy brand name wheels for me), however I am pretty hard set on staying with BFGs.

Thanks in advance!

Add a BL for 33s, unless it's for the street only. 15x8" wheels with 3.75-4" backspacing is common. You can use your stock wheels if you go with 33x10.50" tires.

33x10.5 r15 KO2s
15x8 MB Razor wheels, 3.75" backspace
2.5" spring lift (closer to 2.7")
1.25" body lift

As others have said, if off-roading, you'd be wise to add a body lift if going to 33s.

Fill out your profile so we know the year,engine/trans and axle gear ratios.

There are several build combos that will bog down badly if you put 33s on without spending a couple thousand gearing the axles down.
