Wheel offset

Looking at buying new tires and wheels. Going to 15in wheels and 35x12.50 x15. I have 16in wheels and spacers on my jeep now. From what I've read 3.75in backspacing seems to be what I need but the offset has me a little confused. Should I worry that much about the offset?

8” rim with 3.75 bs will work with the tires you want, offset is just a different way to measure the rim.

With those parameters you don’t need to know anything about offset.
