Hey everybody. I recently bought my first Jeep. I guess you could say it's my "mid-life crisis" solution. I've ridden motorcycles for years, but getting older sucks, and I found myself needing to get off of 2 wheels, for various reasons. Thought about 3 wheels but that only solved part of the problems. Then thoughts of a side by side, but I'd have to buy a trailer and something to pull it with.
After months of indecision, a co-worker started telling me about his Hemi/JK, and I realized...
THAT'S THE ANSWER!!
I get to stay in the open air (with the top off) and I can drive it wherever I want to go. Perfect. I love it. My wife and I like to find dirt roads that don't lead anywhere.
This one isn't perfect,

just needs some TLC. '06 with 99,000 miles.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase. They're really fun vehicles, the best of the Jeep Wranglers by far!

Welcome to the forum. That is a nice looking Jeep. I got a JKU and shortly after I started a my search for an LJ. Took me about a year and half, but finally find a one time owner clean LJ Rubicon. My son says it is the “mistress” and my other kids say it’s “my mid-life crises”. It is my daily go to. The “kid” gets to drive around in the top of the line JKUR while dad runs around in a 18 year old Jeep, but I love it.

I'm glad you found what you wanted. I'm the 3rd owner of mine.

My cousin had an original Golden Eagle (V-8/auto/hard top, if I remember correctly) and I liked it an awful lot, but yes, I really like the TJ

Thank you very much! It's not perfect, but I like it a lot.

Golden Eagles are probably one of the most rare trims offered. I’ve seen one IRL that I can recall.

I actually passed one (a black one) on my way to work just shortly after I purchased mine. I was in my company truck, unfortunately.
It would've been cool to stop him and get a pic of a black one and a white one side by side.
