Head Gasket or Water Pump?

I forgot, but yes, do this too. Just drain some coolant first to get it below the bolt hole level. ^^^

My challenge now, sourcing a torque wrench capable of 100 ft/pounds. - Thanks for your advice gents.

Buddy, or drive up to a shop and say, can you just torque this one bolt to 100ft/lbs? That requires an extra deep socket too, if you haven’t already figured that out. I’d send you mine if you were closer!

The manifold bolt doesn't penetrate the water jacket, it just intersects the head bolt hole. The head bolt is still leaking.

You mentioned the bolt is still leaking, even though there are no visible signs. Where is the leak going? My coolant levels aren't dropping, so I'm confused.

*Sorry for being a pest.

You are allowing the head bolt and the hole in the cylinder head for it to rust and fill up with coolant instead of sealing the head bolt threads like the service manual dictates. You being able to see coolant or notice a change in the overflow isn't the issue.

In short, you aren't plugging the right leak.
