Hardtop noise

My tj hardtop is great for wind noise,I removed it to paint, noticed dust on seal cleaned and replace top , drove it . Noise still there, then I silicone it with clear ,along roof and rubber seal . Drove it and wind noise was gone ,it was almost scary that I could hear myself think. what a difference. Am not concerned about removing top if needed about the silicone. Thought I would share what it did for me

I do not know what you mean by this. I found the hardtop reduced noise compared to the soft top. But based on the rest of your post I suspect this is not what you mean.

I put a silicone bead along the hardtop and rubber seal on the front window where I was hearing the air noise, that stopped it
