This is a weird one. At first it started only when engine braking down the mountain. Sounded like a wire brush intermittently . Its only happening at 35-45 mph. Now it more a grinding sound but it sounds plastic, like a piece of metal on plastic. I doubt its debris. . I have fuel pump issues, a faulty return valve. Has anyone encountered a fuel pump possible grinding? Maybe something came loose in the pump? Cause even then its not always there. Most abundant on high grade hills. But when i got to town, it stopped too when engine braking down a hill... i havent oiled my differential in a while so im doing that tomorrow and going to grease up. Ive neglected both... The sound is center rear. My father thinks a wheel bearing but they seem fine to me. I was thinking too, dad drum brakes since i havent changed them and my jeep does have 161,000 miles.

Its as confusing as my post. Sorry for being so incoherent.
