Hey there,
Over the past 2 years I have been doing an overhaul on my parts on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler X. I am only now starting on electrical components on the inside so I am still learning and looking for help.
My gear indicator light has been out for years and today I replaced it with an identical bulb. The light still will not go on when starting or driving the Jeep. I have looked everywhere on forums to try and find answers but nothing helpful to my situation. I haven't touched fuses yet but I don't know which fuse it might be. Could this be a wiring issue and if so does anyone know where to find the correct wiring to replace it?
All answers i have found on the subject have been "i don't even like driving with the light on" or "just change it to LED" and those haven't been helpful. I have provided some images of the fuse box behind the glove box and under the shifter.
