I'd like some help here, I've been chasing my tail on a couple of problems and it's been driving me nuts.

First is my blinker lights, Ive had some very annoying issues and I'd love to get some guidance on this.
I first changed out blinkers to leds. I got hyper flash so then I got a cheapo led Flasher Relay which was a big mistake. Installed this and I thought my problem was fixed. Then I pressed my hazards on and it made a loud buzzing sound and everything quit. No indicator arrows and blinker doesn't work. I figured I got a bad relay. Returned and replaced it. Didn't work, found a fuse under the glove box that was blown. Replaced it and it fixed nothing. Found a fuse under the hood a 20A that I can remember the number of it, it was blown so I replaced it. As soon as I did that my new relay started smoking and buzzed wierd. So I took that fuse out. I said the hell with it and threw that relay out. Replaced that with a heavy duty relay from NAPA. Nothing works still. No fuses are blown, its a new HD relay too. So I replaced the multifunction switch after doing some research. Didn't solve any problems. The leds have a little bit a light that I can see when I my lights are on, but they don't blink and somethings jacked. I'm out of ideas and would love some opinions.

As for my steering shaft issues, it's the lower steering shaft that is right above the steering box. That U joint right above the box has got a lot of play in it. I've looked at where to buy this and I can't find one for a 2005. You can find a ton for pre 2005 years. And NAPA quoted me 1100$ for a new one, which sounded like total BS for a little rod and U Joint. Any direction anyone can give me on where to buy a replacement would be great, I would be stoked.

Thanks for the help!

I'd be a little surprised if you cant rebuild it with a bearing or bushings, but looks like P/N is 55315044AA.

Keep us posted- Borgersen is an option but stay stock if ya can-

@Jamison C , any thoughts on his turn signal drama?

Likely you are going to need to do some continuity tests on the turn signal circuit, something melted is my guess - thinking the relay sent heavy voltage where it was not needed-

Novita LM 470 is considered the gold standard for led relays after ‘04 I think.
