GATORB8 LJ Build

To procrastinate on running the mic, GPS antenna, and the reverse camera, I went down the speaker rabbit hole last night, lol.

It's got what looks like kicker CS's in the roll bar, guessing the stock sub, and stock front "components".

I went ahead and ordered the Select Increments Dash Pods and the Kicker DS 5.25s (43DSC504). I went down to the DS's vs the CS or KS due to the higher 90 db sensitivity and not wanting to amplify if it's not necessary. As long as it turns out OK, I'll be good with it. I'll leave the stock "sub" for now.

Got a USB and RG45 bulkhead to dashmount for the MXT275 pass through and a USB port for one of the head unit leads. I don't love the Rubigrid, but went ahead and ordered a Bulletpoint setup with Rubigrid, Universal Phone Mount, and radio handset mount.

Ordered a Warn VR Evo 8-S for the front bumper. Decided on CavFab Predators F/R, ordered those last week.

I'll update after I get all the little accessories installed and have some seat time with it running carplay. I think the biggest issue people have is weird carplay issues (although I have similar issues on all my newer OEM vehicles).

I went with the Boss marine radio, I wanted something pretty water proof (I have no idea why).

If I wasn't running carplay I actually would consider deleting the head unit and running something like this that I run in the golf cart: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CUMQU50?tag=wranglerorg-20.

Guess I don't have a pic of my dash all "on"... but here is my set up... The Boss is bluetooth car play but I find it simpler to just plug it in... and that way it's getting charged as well.
