Hi All:
So I finally got tired of 3-4 turns on the ignition to prime the fuel system and get my TJ to run, bit the bullet, and dropped the fuel tank. Being as the correct Bosch fuel sending unit is almost unobtainium these days, I tracked down the correct Bosch fuel pump, and used it to refresh the old unit. Put everything back together and, while it is a significant improvement (one longish crank and it fires off), it still feels like I’m losing fuel pressure. I am kicking myself for not replacing the o-rings on both ends of quick release fuel line that runs between the pressure regulator and the hard line. Anyone know if worn o-rings at these connections could be causing some pressure loss? Thanks in advance for any insights you can share.
