Hey Guys! I purchased a 2000 Jeep Sahara and will be fixing it up a little along. I don't know a lot about jeeps. I do want to do things the right way though. I am looking for front steering recommendations. I have had some recent issues with death wobble. I'd like to know right off what would be good solid upgrades. I will be only on highways and the occasional dirt road.

I’d start with the track bar, control arms and balancing your tires first. The Currie steering system is the best and you can absolutely go that route if some of your tie rods are bad, but the stock track bar would be my first look at your system. Take a look at the JKS HD or Currie track bar for a nice upgrade.

Thank you! Actually the tie rod boots are pretty cracked up. The steering system sounds like a good option.

Do a dry steering test and see what needs replacement first.

^^^This!

I had someone cycle the steering wheel back and forth while I was underneath looking at things. It was totally obvious what the problem was, at least in my situation. I had wheels on the ground with the engine off, trying to find out where the slack was.

first and most underrated reason for death wobble are the tyres. check they are all good and then check the rest. happened both on toyota and jeep, both time it was the tyres.
