Hello! Big Jeep fan here and have owned a CJ, YJ, and JK previously as well as a Gladiator currently. Several years ago I saw a teal TJ and have wanted one ever since. Finally had one come up for sale near me a few days ago, and jumped at the chance to get it!

Very cool, welcome to the forum! I'm assuming that's a 1997? If so, rare color!

Nice, welcome.

"The phrase "one rotten apple spoils the whole barrel" is a proverb ... how a single rotten apple can accelerate the decay of other apples in a barrel by producing ethylene gas. This gas triggers and speeds up the ripening and spoilage process in other nearby fruits."

never seen that color before!! its awesome!

May I suggest painting the top white, and white covers for the seats (that's what I would do)

I considered getting a white soft top for next summer. But I’ve got lots of time to figure out what I want to do!

Never seen that color before. New black flares would make it look a lot better!

Be careful with those old jeep cherokee wheels and tires someone swapped on. The tires look old. There is a date code on the tire you can research

Thanks for the heads up! The tires are in good shape, but I will be replacing them when I figure out exactly what I want to go with.

Tires will depend on the intended use . I run an aggressive all-terrain tire myself , the Cooper Discovery Stronghold. These do have a slight hum , but not as loud as mud tires . So far the Stronghold has provided excellent off road traction for my use and has great road manners wet or dry . The Cooper Discovery AT3 is a really good all-terrain , quiet ... smooth and good traction . I've also ran the Falcon Wildpeak At4w , it is an excellent on/off road tire . It's quiet and handles great on road wet or dry with good off-road traction.

Thanks!! I've been looking at the Stronghold. I need a good all-terrain. For now I'm mostly going to be driving forest roads to get to trails for backpacking or dispersed camping, and what's on now is fine for that. I'm keeping an eye out for deals on marketplace because I'm planning to do a couple sections of the WA BDR next summer, and not in any huge rush. Most of the local trails we've done in the Gladiator are super muddy, and we've got Patagonia mud tires on it. But I'd like something a little better on/off road.
