Hiya, trying to find the following...

Mopar 55395147AA

Pin-Locating

https://www.moparpartsgiant.com/parts/mopar-pin-locating~55395147aa.html

The white plastic flat protruding pins that line up the hard top. Regular TJ needs 2, I’m refinishing an LJ hardtop which needs 4, and 3 of mine are broken off. I’ve tried the dealer and the parts guy(who is normally very good) says they are out of production and no longer available. Tried several internet parts places who show in stock and then cancel my order because they can’t get them either. Anyone have an idea on finding them? Anyone have a 3D printer lol?

Having trouble finding these too. I know they are not necessary but it will probably bug me. You by chance have CAD files to print em? Or maybe the dimension drawings?

I feel no need for them. I have mine here somewhere but when I tried finding them to show someone I could not. If I come across them I will let you know.

🤣

This has got to be the #1 OCD thread.
Oh it definitely is. I have one of the genright cages on mine too and gotta do a weird tilt when I put top on to get the latches down all the way so they dont even help locate. They do absolutely nothing but bug the hell out of me by missing one :ROFLMAO:

True, there are six big bolts that do that job far better than a pair of plastic pins can.
This reminds me of our framer who just messed up a roof pitch tying into an existing house...He said he did not have a good drawing...I was like man you had the house your ladder is leaned up against it.

I thought mine were after market! my 06 hard top has sliding oblong nuts that fit into a groove in the tub, I knocked the remaining nylon pins out as I thought the P/O might have put them there?
6 hard top bolts is all I use. I bought the ones with the plastic wingnut things because I couldn't get to the front ones easy enough due to the roll cage.

The pin is likely a production assembly aid, like the plastic ring in axle to center it-

Realistically your best fitment is as far back as it will sit once the bolts are in the elongated holes. Insured door clearance.
