Howdy Everyone!!

First official post but i've been lurking for months. I have owned 4 previous jeeps ranging from TJ, JK, and JL but after many years ended up going back to the Holy Grail for me which is a 2006 Solar Yellow Unlimited Rubicon LJ. I started out with Solar Yellow in 2002 and now i'm back in a Solar Yellow TJ.

Here are my past jeeps:

- 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ (Manual in Solar Yellow)
- 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon JK (Automatic in Desert Tan)
- 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon JK (Automatic in Commando Green)
- 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon JL (Manual in Sting Gray)
- 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited LJ (Automatic in Solar Yellow)

Shout out to Jerry Bransford who i have followed on many forums going back to the early 2000's and who's information and knowledge has saved me many times. He's the OG.

I am so glad there is a forum dedicated to the 1997-2006 TJ.

Here is a pic of my new baby. She has lived her entire life in Arizona and Texas. Rust Free, unmolested, and just over 60k miles. I got lucky and found my Unicorn.

congrats on your acquisition of best Jeep and welcome out from the shadows 🍻

That's the only way you'll get me back in a TJ... a yellow Rubicon Unlimited. I absolutely love it!

I searched for 3 months pretty much daily before i found this one. If you know TJs/LJs you know from pictures what to look for. There were lots of yellow TJs but this was the only Solar Yellow LJ i saw and all the starts aligned. This particular one lived its life in Arizona and was owned by and older couple that flat towed it behind their RV to just use to run around once they were in a camping spot. So no offroading at all and no rust. I did replace some items in the engine bay like valve cover gasket, PCV grommets, and upgraded the wiring to the Big 7 Wiring which was really nice.

Those look like nice aluminum fenders and rear corners. Us Solar Yellow LJs are a dying breed. :)
