No, was a TX car until 2014, then a garage queen spending most of the time on a lift.
Pity the TR6 has sold, lovely condition
it was in great condition and I loved working on it more than driving it. I am just too big for it, my feet hit the gas and brake at the same time and it was just not enjoyable to drive anymore.

Congratulations on getting your TJ there safe and sound. Before you get to sealing up the underside, be sure to drill the recommended drain holes in the bottom of the frame so water and road dirt can drain out of the box frame. When I got mine, I drilled the holes and took a hose and rinsed out the frame and about half a ton of dirt came out.
My girlfriend and I were over in London back in June. It was our first trip to England and we really enjoyed it. I kept an eye out but only saw 1 TJ the whole time. It had mountain rescue stickers on it and looked like it got off-road use. Good luck and have fun with yours!!

First day out since numerous small updates / service / front bumper / winch etc.
Very pleased with how it drives. Even with the larger wheels and tires its not sluggish
Questions for those in the know - With the front end jacked up and selector in 2 wheel drive, if you turn a front wheel does the other front wheel turn the opposite way ? Just checking to make sure the 4wd is functioning correctly.

Assuming you have an open diff, than yes - but only if the driveshaft remains stationary. You can turn the driveshaft, and it will turn one wheel if the other is held, and vis versa.
We visited the Falklands last year for one full day. Not one Jeep but the finest collection of Landrovers I have ever seen!
Its probably been asked many times before. I'm now running near 33" (285/75 R16) on my 1999 TJ 4.0l Sport with manual transmission. Drives well but gearing needs to be changed in the diffs.
What gear ratios takes it back to acceptable highway cruising levels of RPM / speed.

4.56+ for a 4.0l/5speed. 4.10 isn't quite enough for a 4.0l and will probably use more fuel by bogging down.regardless of rpms
