Fat Rubicon flares or thin regular flares?

Just need a aesthetic opinion

Should I keep the fat rubicon flares on and re-paint them?

Or should I swap them out for new thinner ones for a more clearance look?

I feel like the fat rubicon flares are out-dated and thinner ones will give a better look. What do you folks think?

p.s. Rubicon flares are only 1" wider. Hardly fat.

One of my rubicon flares is damaged and I can replace the one and repaint or I can swap them out for a new set of stock flares

Same flares with narrow tires and wheels. I could go back to the factory flares , but it really doesn't look too bad .

Second picture is same size tires and wheels with the factory flares .

Personally I like the stock Rubicon flares the most.

I think having tires stick out from the flares makes it look like a roller skate. Which is why I have Rubicon width flares on my Sport and part of why I run as much backspacing as I can to keep them tucked in (though the mud spray on the sides makes it clear they still stick out at least some)
