Gotcha. Yes, that is specifically what I’m looking for. The factory ones look identical to that except a bit shorter. Sadly I can’t find that style in 1/4-20 anywhere. I ordered up some overpriced semi rusty OEM stuff from daveys. Ultimately that is the solution for me, was just hoping I could find something local/new. Oh well.
I have some if need be. A few points of clarification. You don't really want to tap the extruded hole. The body bolt is designed to roll the threads in so they are called self threading. They are not self tapping which has a cutting point to make the right size hole that is then tapped by the bolt thread. The bolts in this application are not covered under any DIN specification since they are SAE or normal US thread pitches, not metric. The OEM versions are also not tri-lobular. They reserved that for a lot of the bolts that go into the frame or thicker metal.
