Factory / stock wheel diameter

97-06 Jeep TJ’s. My relatively new-to-me 2004 Sahara (6 cylinder) has 15” wheels which I’m assuming are stock. My buddy says the TJ’s also came with stock 16” wheels. Is that possible? His is 2006.
