I can't see there being any more huge advances in range until the way we store electricity makes some serious advances, Current battery technology cant be made anymore energy dense and bigger heavier batteries just wastes more power to pull. They chip away at the edges with less drag; improve aerodynamics but sacrifice styling or disable all the creature comforts you expect in modern vehicles but you paid for a "luxury car".It’s always amazed me that here in the states there is so much focus on how fast the EV’s are. Almost every single one - but especially the Tesla. Car and Driver famously referred to Tesla’s acceleration as a “Party Trick.” How about develop an EV with reasonable performance, but concentrate on range?
