Just had a friend post that their friend's JL caught fire in their garage the other day just before the recall came out. Luckily they got it out before it burned the house down.....

An electric emergency vehicle belonging to a fire department in Germany caught fire and burnt down the new fire station.
The fire, which occurred on Oct. 16, according to Euro News, started from a vehicle that "contained lithium-ion batteries and an external power connection." The blaze destroyed nearly a dozen emergency vehicles and caused between $21.5 million and $25.9 million in damage. No one was injured.
The stations, which opened a year ago, didn’t have a fire alarm system, Euro News reported because “experts considered it not necessary.”

Apparently, a Boeing built geosynchronous satellite spontaneously grenaded without warning. Now there's a bunch of junk in a highly valuable geosynchronous position that they can't do anything about. I can only think it was the battery...

Tesla has invested billions of dollars to build the Cybertruck factory, with initial tooling for 130,000 vehicles per year and an option to expand that number to 250,000 Cyertrucks annually.
It appears Tesla way over estimated the demand for the vehicle based on the number of reservations.

The new electric Scout has been revealed. Nice rendition but need a gas version for me to be interested.
The stories I’ve seen state there’ll be both an electric and range extended version.

My idea of hybrid is fossil and corn fuel.
