I already am to an extent

Why??? Which was the standard engine offered in a 2000-2010 Chevy 2500? I know it wasn't the 5.3. It was a 6.0 or 6.2 is all I can remember.

The generation split was 2007 so like ???

And I think the 1/2t default was the 5.3 and could be optioned as 6.0 and the 6.0 was default on the 3/4t

Then it was a 6.0.... Either way I was very disappointed in it.... Had NO nuts and got really shitty fuel mileage.

Once i do get my "dream" stroker setup and I beat a camaro or whatever I want someone to be like "Is it V8 swapped?" Me: "hell nah,pop hood* It's still the same inline 6 it came with....with a turbo etc. 😎"
Yes I may be a bit delusional.....A teeny bit😂 but if people knock out 350 crank I don't see how I couldn't reach 550 crank? with a stroker 4.0...
I know it's possible. To build for that with forged pistons and rods it'll likely need a deep enough dish that it's compression is not great in a NA config. So you'll have to jump all in including the tuning.

There's other gas I6 plaforms capable of hitting the hp targets more easily with much engine work. Vortec 4200, B58 and 2JZ all have the architecture to get there on boost. The 4200 and 2JZ can be adapted to an AX-15 and mounted into the TJ frame.

I would not want that level of power in a TJ myself. The solid front axle handling limitations, poor brakes and short wheelbase would be a hand full.

The 4200s are Cool for sure, the crossflow head is a huge advantage too!

My thing is,I want to use what I have! Don't quiete wanna break my heads adapting something to my Lj when it comes to and engime,I gotta grinder and a welder but I can only do so much with it🙃

I'll mmake the front work somehow, It's limited for sure! But I have an Lj so it helps having the extra wheelbase.Even more once I stretch the rear!
