Cleaning up the ranger today. This is a 2021, been in the north it's whole life. But still seems like a lot of rust after 4 years. Anyone else have a ranger/150 and seen anything like this?

What are we looking at here, a 2021 Ranger?

Whatever the case may be, that's what happens when you drive your vehicle during the winters up there and don't wash it immediately after winter storms.

Rust you're seeing is typical for the area. All you have to do is a drive through a snow storm once and not wash your truck of course after 4 years it will look like that.

Honestly looks fairly normal for a vehicle that isn't being washed and prepped each year and after storms. Brush those spots down or wire wheel them. Paint. Prep every year with some sort of undercoating like wool wax or Northern Oil. Wash after every storm.

It's been washed regularly but not religiously after every drive. I guess it's normal but it was surprising when I started looking close.
