Coil Pack Connector Removal?

It’s stuck! I’m in the 2nd day of trying to to get the elect connector off the coil pack rail. The orange slider moves but there’s no push tab on the body of the connector. I’ve sprayed it with WD-40 but it won’t budge. I’ve even grabbed it with channel locks and wiggled. Nothing. I sure don’t want to break it.
Any suggestions ? Thanks.

WD-40 is the right answer. Probably have some grit in there...keep hosing it off... maybe wiggle and spray.

You sure that safety tab is all the way out?

Well wouldn’t ya know- as soon as I ask for help, I successfully got the connector off.
I stuck a thin flat rod down into the connector and pushed it outward while pulling down on the connector body . Voila .
. it came apart… the flat rod is @ .050 thick . Actually it’s a brazing rod. Photo added in case somebody else needs it.

Just asking your opinion....I like to use silicone spray over WD-40. I do have WD-40 but the literal name is Water Displacement for WD...so does it not have the effect of drying...thus causing already brittle plastic to become further brittle? At least that's my understanding.

I prefer silicone too.

I did learn however that you can poison your O2 sensors with silicone...so use motor oil for injector o-rings, as an example, per the FSM.

See....this is why I ask the questions....thank you again....I can still learn at 53!!!!
